Most days I want to tear my hair out. I have my work cut out for me, with four kids...age 5 and under. It seems the days just fly by, and I usually don't stop going until I crash. From sun up to sun down, my day is hectic.
Those who don't have children, may not understand. It's hard work.
There's days I want to throw in the towel. Like when my husband was deployed this last time. I had bought a brand new HUGE container of pepper. My son, 3 at the time, got up and spread the pepper all OVER my kitchen. Me, being hugely pregnant, I was frustrated. I cried.
I took a picture though, and it didn't do it justice...six months later I was still finding pepper. I didnt stop sneezing for a week it seems. (yes that's his underwear.)
Or the time my daughter went through her room and ripped out EVERY piece of clothing out of HER drawers and her SISTER's....have you ever folded 300+ pieces of 0-3,3-6,&6-9 pieces of clothing...to have to go do it right over? Yeah... happened more than I would care to admit.
How about when my son, newly potty trained, was amused he could "aim" and "aimed" it right into his HUGE toy box of toys...I had to hand clean each and every toy...
They definitely keep life interesting.
Thinking back, I laugh now.
That's the point though, isn't it?
When you're at your ropes end, Your children just won't behave...they're screaming at you, jumping off their beds, yelling "I. AM. BATMAAAAAN!!" (crash, WAHHH!) getting into everything and anything...
and you just want to throw in the towel...
Take a breath, and remember: You will laugh later. Learn now, Laugh later. They're children.
(I personally think it's their mission to destroy sanity...Yup!)
Just make sure to stop every now and then, and take in their ages, their mentality.
Enjoy them; their chaos.
It doesn't last forever... and as insane as it sounds...
You will miss it.
I hope every one has a wonderful mother's day.
And when your child does something today, that makes you want to tear your hair out...
take a breath and remember... you were once a child too. You once drove someone absolutely bonkers.

This made me laugh. It's so true. I am Batmaaaaaaan! Or Spiderman.. or Hulk... They drive us crazy but one day they will be grown and not around all the time, and we will miss them. Breathe.. persevere, hope we haven't done too much damage LOL.
